Marano di Valpolicella is a hilly area at 300 m above sea level with limestone and clay soil.
Vine age: 15-30 years
Vinification:
Hand harvest from late September to mid-October. Controlled fermentation in stainless steel vats. Aging: 12 months in oak barrels.
Tasting notes:
Colour: dark ruby.
Nose: a delicate aromatic bouquet of floral and red fruits with subtle notes of wood and tobacco.
Taste: full, round body with pleasant tannins.
Food pairing: typical Mediterranean cuisine, risotto, pasta, cheese.
Ideal serving temperature: 14-16 °C
