Terroir: Saliva with a high percentage of limestone
Variety: 100% Riesling
Vinification: traditional fermentation in 120 year old oak barrels. This is followed by a 12-month process of "elevage sur lie" or the method of aging the wine on yeast lees.
Tasting notes. The bouquet is elegant with notes of delicate flowers and citrus. In the mouth the wine is dry and full-bodied. Pleasant length of mineral flavour with hints of chalk.
