GRANDE TRADITION AOP MINERVOIS ROUGE 2017
GRAPES :60% Grenache noir. 30% Syrah. 10% Carignan.
TERROR : Gravelly terraced soil cut by the Clamoux River and made up of clay-limestone slopes.
CLIMATE : Mediterranean, hot and dry with oceanic influences.
CULTIVATION :Traditional tillage. Sustainable agriculture 'Vitealys' certified by an independent organisation.
VINIFICATION : Traditional vinification, the grapes are left in vats to ferment for a long time. Strict temperature control. Grapes are de-stemmed as soon as possible after harvest.
DEGUSTATION NOTES : Ruby red colour. Beautiful aromatic complexity combining flavours of ripe red fruits and spices. The attack on the palate is strong, softened, with nice balance and a long aromatic finish.
TASTING: Perfect with regional dishes, cassoulet, fricassee, meat in sauce, game, and fermented cheeses. Even better, this wine can be enjoyed with duck breast with Minervois honey or with poultry from the Languedoc region.
SERVING TEMPERATURE : 16°à 17°C.
AGING POTENTIAL :5 to 10 years.
