De Vermont
Our family residence is located in the heart of the village of Vaux-Clochemerle in Beaujolais and has been passed down from father to son for five generations.
The Château de Vaux, the birthplace of the family, was built in the 12th century. It is the imprint of the monks of Cluny who built the Romanesque church and planted the first vineyards in the town.
It was in the twenties that Louis de Vermont decided to use the property then worked as sharecroppers. The development of direct sales was one of his priorities, as was the promotion of Beaujolais vineyards.
It is now Yannick who runs the family vineyard in an ecologically responsible and sustainable spirit
