Visual aspect This Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin has a clear, lemon yellow colour with golden and silvery highlights. The wine is clear and very luminous. Olfactory aspect A generous bouquet with a beautiful rich aroma. The fruity, floral and honey aromas make this 1er Cru a powerful and elegant wine.
The palate is fresh and light; it gives the impression of purity. It is light on the palate; characterized by notes of subtle richness. This Chablis 1er Cru Vaucoupin is refined and seductive. Comment by Bill Nansen / Again more open - nice aromas. I can't exactly say more about the specifics. Still broader, less overtly concentrated but with more energy and complexity - delicious in the middle and on the finish. Persistent and mineral finish without austerity - great.
Pairing : Couscous with fish, steamed fish and seafood, garlic mayonnaise
Temperature : 11 to 12 °C
